Eva began her educational journey in 2017 when she enrolled in Accounting 1 at SCROC at the age of 29. At the time, she was working as a cashier at the 99 Cents Store while also balancing the responsibilities of being a single parent to her six-year-old autistic child. Despite these challenges, she remained committed to her education and continued to build upon her knowledge.

In the fall of 2018, she advanced her skills by completing both Accounting 2 and QuickBooks Desktop at Torrance Adult School (TAS). Recognizing the importance of professional certifications, she became a QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU) in the winter of 2019. Her dedication to lifelong learning led her to return to TAS periodically to update her skills and stay current with industry standards further solidifying her commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence.

Eva Fimbres is an exceptional and dedicated adult learner whose journey is nothing short of inspiring. Her unwavering determination, perseverance, and commitment to personal and professional growth set her apart as an outstanding individual in the field of accounting. Eva has and continues to be an inspiration confidently displaying her skills, experience, and passion for accounting, education, and advocacy. Her perseverance, resilience, and dedication to lifelong learning further highlights her tenacity to not only bettering her life but those around her.
